Light Blue Dupe, the Summer Citrus Standard
Our Light Blue dupe is Sicilian lemon and green apple over cedar and bamboo, the scent most people mean when they say they want something fresh. It is sharp for the first twenty minutes then settles into something soft and clean that holds through a working day. It is also one of the most requested scents among our men's cologne dupes, despite being marketed to women.
By Man, By Woman and the Ambery Warmth
Our By Man dupe is warm and slightly smoky, tobacco and amber with a spiced opening, made for cold evenings rather than office hours. By Woman is its counterpart, softer and sweeter, with vanilla sitting under the spice. Velvet Desert Oud, Sicily and D and G Femme Original
Velvet Desert Oud is the heavyweight here: oud, saffron and incense, dense and long lasting, and the one to choose if you want projection. Sicily is brighter, citrus over soft florals, closer in spirit to the Light Blue end of the range. The Femme Original is the 1992 composition, vanilla, basil and marigold, a genuinely old fashioned composition that has aged well.
